When we moved out into the countryside I really wanted to try to live in as rustic away as possible, and so I was really glad that the place had an old traditional fireplace which I could build a wood fire in. It was pretty hard work at first, having to chop logs and all that kind of stuff, but now I have got used to it I’m really enjoying the look of my real wood fire. The best thing about it is that I have had a wood fireplace insert fitted and now I don’t need to worry about heat escaping that the chimney, and so I get a real fire with a really good heat into the bargain.
